Welcome!
I’m Lauren,
I’s so glad you’re here.
When I married my husband, Rusty, I didn’t do it like everyone said I should. You know, the American plan I call it. Get a collage degree, start work, have enough money and get married, and then sometime down the road have kids. People told us to wait 3-5 years before having children. When I did get pregnant a year into marriage, every woman I meet was telling me to go back to collage. Those were their dreams not mine.
It was hard “going against the grain” of the world, but as I began following the Lord Jesus deeply and the tugging at my heart to actually chase my dreams – I became much more confident. Well, I confidently failed and eventually succeeded – so it felt.
I had to learn what it was to be a woman after the heart of God, to be a wife, mother and create a vision for a family that built on the word of God. I didn’t have that growing up in a divorced family and most of the time, chaotic family. I felt alone and unwanted in my family. I wanted a different dream and home for my husband and children.
This blog is to inspire other women who want the same thing. A home full of life, laughter, and beautiful relationships with their husband and children.
Join us while we seek to know God deeply and build a legacy that last to the 1000th generation – as the word of God promises to those who build on him as their foundation.

Know God. know yourself. Know your husband. know your kids. Build a legacy.
